I've been going into shoppers Drug Mart twice a week for almost 10 years now at 150 Montreal Road in Ottawa.
I've never had a problem and know all the staff by name but since the new owner the staff are being forced to treat the customer like money and not a person. They are lying to the customer and mistreating the customer.
It seems to me that there is a new way of doing business which is "Lying, Cheating and Stealing.
Well the old adage that says Cash is Still King remains true. Here's my Adage" money has legs and walking is not a problem".
$2000.00 a year has just walked out of 150 Montreal Road because of the arrogant new owner.

Absolutely terrible online support!
Placed an order on April 16, and still waiting for the order to be received after 45 days. Called them 4 times, every 10 days, and waited over an hour for someone to speak, but online guys are so dump that they give different explanation everytime. Their responses on my 4 enquiries were the followings:
1- We will investigate the issue and will let you know ASAP.
2- We have generated an exceptional order for you.
3- We are sending your shipment today, and you will receive an email with tracking code in 2 days.
4- We don't know what happened with your order - let us know if you are still interested to receive your parcel or need a refund. Huh seriously?
I have sent them email with several reminders, but it seems that they don't ever bother to go through emails.
They should definitely shutdown their online business unless they don't hire professionals to resolve customers' concerns.
I would never do online shopping at SDM and won't even recommend them to my enemies.

Worst Company I ever had faced in my life.

Overall I didn't like the Shopper drug Mart. I bought some medications as per doctor's prescription anf they didn't give an official prescription slip for one of the medications. I filed for the claim to my insurance company and then they advised me to get it from them. When I called in the store, I asked them to issue an official prescription invoice, they again provided me the same which i already had. As per their instrcution, they told me they can't email me but can send to my nearby store. I went there but I was so frustated when I saw that they didn;t provide the correct one. Then the store employee asked me to contact them again and visit again to the store when their other store will send the revised correct one.
Do they think the customer are free to come back and forth.
It's rediculous. I won't visit them again in my whole life

transfer prescriptions to new location

I moved to a new city and wanted to transfer my prescriptions to another shoppers location. It has been a total nightmare to do this. I have called the customer service 4 times, and each time it was someone from India (even though they said they were in Toronto. English was not understood, it has been the most frustrating thing I have had to do...just to be able to view and order my scripts online. I will be looking for a new pharmacy. It should be a simple process.
Such as go into the pharmacy request transfer and the pharmacy location moves everything over. But no, they move over the prescriptions but it is not linked to your online profile, so you can't use the online re-order. You have to call a customer service person and that is when it becomes a joke of running around. It took 4 phone calls. Extremely poor system.

Donna is the reason to stay at this store

If you're ever at the Lundy's Lane store in Niagara Falls, you want to find Donna at the Pharmacy...Top notch service EVERY time....She took the trouble to learn and remember my name, and is a genuine person - very rare at any SDM - Mark the pharmacist very helpful too...When Donna goes, my business will too....Kudos

This review is for shoppers at SickKids…

This review is for shoppers at SickKids in Toronto. I can't give minus star so you get 1 but you don't deserve 1 star.
Dear employees at shoppers @SickKids! We as parents don't have a choice because most of the time the nurse or doctor just send the prescription down and because of it you have a JOB. You work at a hospital a children's hospital have some compassion. I get it, it is very very busy but your rudeness and unfriendliness do not help parents that are already under alot of stress be nicer to you. When you dispensed a wrong cap for a liquid bottle and I had to come back to ask for a correct one. You did not apologize for your error which caused half of my child medicine to spilled but you wanted to charge me for that f**king cap.

Shopper's Elmwood Square- Senior's Day- One cashier, one guy wandering around aimlessly trying to promote self-checkout. Lineups everywhere, no one sanitizing cart handles or checkout area. So poorly run.

I placed 2 online orders, total value was over $600. already 16 days & didn’t receive the order yet. Shoppers online has using Canada post for delivery, when I call to canada post said no item to scan. Also very poor communication service on their customer care. So poor & very bad customer service through online shoppers drug mart. Don’t order through online shoppers drug mart. Very late delivery! Bad customer care service! hard to communicate with customer care service people!

2202 Broad St Regina SK Location FANTASTIC

The location at 2202 Broad St in Regina SK is by far the best for customer service. It is what every retail business, and other business model should be based on for exceptional service.
The retail store and the pharmacy are exceptional in servicing the customer in every possible way. I have shopped at this store, and used this pharmacy, for many years. It is near where I recently retired from and was convenient with lots of parking, cleared walkways. With the pandemic, the store goes above and beyond to assure customer, and staff, safety.
I have kept it as my main store, even with one closer to home, because of the exceptional staff, cleanliness, and accessibility of the store.
The pharmacy helped me set up my prescriptions for automatic renewal, and a text message to let me know to pick up the prescriptions. This is because I have difficulty remembering to renew them.
I would rate the store off the charts.

My online order has taken over 20 days to arrive. I have received orders from China quicker than this. I have also found their customer service line to be completely useless. I will not order from them again. Sadly I cannot recommend ordering from them.

The staff hurt my feelings to tears. treated badly by a staff in…

I was treated badly by a staff in prescriptions department today at Elgin Milks & Yonge Street in Richmond Hill.
Poor customer service. She lacked the verbal skills to ask the right questions in order to find my prescription order on the computer. She walked away while I was speaking to her and summoned another staff to “deal with this”. The other staff wasn’t much better, she was matter a fact with little customer skills. She did helped me with the prescription for which I thanked her. The previous staff left me feeling dissatisfied and hurt to tears while I managed to tell her she was rude and disrespectful. This is my first blatant experience of racism in Canada and I’m sure it won’t be my last, even though I would like to think otherwise.
I will find another store to fill my prescription where I will be treated with respect and kindness. There are many stores who will be happy for my business especially in this pandemic.

Customer Service and employees

Customer Service
I visit shoppers once or twice a week they have three to four cosmeticians working at one time and none of them are pleasant or courteous. Their pharmacy has three assistance and one pharmacist but refused to fill a prescription and didn’t offer to call the doctor or give me another medication. The shoppers have more than one cashier and several other employees including a supervisor but their customer service is very poor. Employees are in fair and very rude. Employees aren’t fully trained. As a customer when I go and spend money at shoppers each time we walk in it’s always more than $50 each transaction but the service is poor. We as customer have a right to be treated fairly and it’s not greed to ask to be treated fairly it’s humanity because treating people by judging their colour or accents is complete discrimination. What is happening to the world when places like shoppers pay employees, hire them to do the job and they try to ruin the business. Many times I missed thousands and thousands worth of points but didn’t complain now I’m giving out a bad review because this was the third time I was treated poorly. I was overcharged by mistake three times. Would that be greed to ask for price accuracy? Or it’s too greedy to pay the price everyone else pays? Why should I pay more because of my colour or accent?
